Customer Feedback by Digital Innovation Boards
Digital Innovation Boards take responsibility for directly bringing innovations to the large companies. Dependent on the executive, the best startups, new solutions, research results or cooperation projects are presented. Open questions are discussed and technology demand is taken up.
- A digital board meeting takes approx. 1 hour.
- UI presents the newest and best fitting startups to a company executive. S/he evaluates the startup approaches as member of the Startup Jury for the German Startup Cup.
- Company Executive can ask questions about current challenges and receives advise. Usually UI is supported by one of its Trusted Advisors.

Having Fun with the German Startup Cup
The German Startup Cup forsters innovation and helps young companies establish themselves in the market. The startups are integrated into the United Innovations network, where they have the opportunity to present their innovations to interested user companies and a jury of experts.
The live final events are held in partnership with companies such as BASF Coatings, PwC, KfW, Vodafone, and Nord LB.
The German Startup Cup competitions are held in the following categories:
- Cybersecurity
- AI & Software
- Industry 4.0 (Logistics/Manufacturing/Sustainability)
Qualification
The qualification for the Cup Final is part of the Digital Innovation Boards.
In each digital meeting 5 Startups are shown and evaluated. During the qualification phase appr. 40 meetings with potential customers will be scheduled. The Startups with the highest score will move to the final.
